Cloudy But Warm Saturday!

Ken was up early and did a lot of reading before we started getting ready to meet his sister, Priscilla, and her husband, Dwane, for breakfast at Anita's Restaurant in Nokomis.  It was so good to see them.  They are staying in Florida for 3 weeks with the next week and a half in Sarasota.  Our breakfasts at Anitas was delicious and we were able to spend time there talking for about 1 1/2 hours.  We had a lot of "catching up" to do!

We left there and drove to downtown Venice to walk around the Saturday morning Farmer's Market and have one of those delicious scones from the Upper Crust Bakery!

Small Market but rather crowded!

So nice to spend time with Ken's sister and her husband!

We went out separate ways around 1:15.  Ken and I stopped at Detweiler's Market and Wal-Mart on the way back to the CG.

We got the wash together and went to the CG laundromat.  I did the wash while Ken made salads for dinner.  It had started raining when we returned, but it was a light, steady rain.  When I returned from the laundry, Ken had been a very busy boy.  We were both tired, so we rested for about 20 minutes.

I worked on the blog while Ken grilled chicken and salmon.  Noela and Ernie came to Wilbur from 8 to 10 and we reminisced about our childhood and then the men won Racko.  (Ken said it was because he had the white rack instead of the red one - whatever!!!!)
